What’s Up: October 2026 Skywatching Tips from NASA
This month offers opportunities to see the planets Saturn and Jupiter in the night sky, along with a meteor shower and a close pass by the Moon near the Pleiades star cluster. Saturn will be visible for most of the night, while a thin crescent Moon will appear near Jupiter on October 6. The Orionid meteor shower is also expected.
