NASA JPL Testing Readies Voyager Technologies Lander for Moon Mission
Engineers are preparing the Griffin-1 lunar lander for its mission to the Moon by conducting environmental tests at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The testing is being done in a large simulator to mimic the conditions of space and the Moon's surface. The team is using a crane to position the spacecraft in the simulator.
Why it's good news: It means that the Griffin-1 lander is one step closer to successfully landing on the Moon, which could lead to new discoveries and advancements in space exploration.
