Hubble Reveals Cosmic Mystery
The Hubble Space Telescope has taken an image of NGC 4449, one of the galaxies being studied in the GLOW project, which is looking at how galaxies lose oxygen. Researchers have found that dwarf galaxies can only retain a small amount of oxygen produced by their stars. This galaxy is classified as a dwarf irregular.
Why it's good news: It provides more information about the universe and helps scientists better understand how galaxies function.
