How drones are hunting fires hidden beneath the Cairngorms
A wildfire that burned out of control in the Cairngorms mountain range has been extinguished, but hidden areas may still be smoldering. Firefighters are now using drones to locate and monitor these underground hotspots. The technology allows them to identify areas where flames may be still burning.
